On a recent episode of MetalTalk, host, Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down with EagleView Senior Business Development Manager, Rob Soper, to discuss their involvement in Sherwin-Williams' latest program, Roofing Passport. The Roofing Passport makes working the metal roofing market a breeze unlike ever before.
EagleView partnering with Sherwin-Williams with this innovative technology has changed how contractors work. The Roofing Passport application allows users to calculate commercial or residential roofing project cost estimates with the simple click of a button. The platform then generates accurate property measurements and exact cost breakdowns of materials used, saving contractors a tremendous amount of time and resources.
The program has been a great tool for contractors so far. Rob said, “We have built this Roofing Passport platform that allows metal contractors to take EagleView data and roll it into the platform and generate takeoffs, and estimates, and cut lists that are ready for production, ready for bidding and estimating. Really, we've taken the process of building an estimate from three or four hours exclusive of the job site visit.” He continued, “The way the cut list is organized and delivered to their production staff and allows them to organize the materials on the job site has saved them one to two days on each job from a production standpoint. I mean, it's kind of remarkable. This platform gives the users all the needs, solves the measurement problem, solves the estimating, bidding, the material ordering is all in there. It's fantastic.”
