The largest construction labor marketplace, ToolBelt, announces that they have hired industry rockstar, former ANGI Director of Business Development & Sales, Brett Symes as their vice president of enterprise sales. Symes will lead the national sales team in acquiring and managing enterprise customers as ToolBelt now serves 20 markets East to West.
About Symes, ToolBelt Founder & CEO, Josh Engelbrecht says “I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Brett for two years as we shared mutual clients. Brett comes highly recommended by many colleagues and customers. What I am most impressed by is his start with the customer and work backward mindset. This problem-solving sales approach aligns perfectly with our values at ToolBelt
We have a very talented team that has built the only construction labor marketplace in the residential industry. Servicing national clients such as national builders, franchises, home improvement companies, and more is what Brett did phenomenally at ANGI. I have no doubt that Brett will be a major contributor to ToolBelt’s success as we continue to connect the construction industry.”
In Symes’ over 10-year career with HomeAdvisor and Angi, he was a major contributor in successfully launching and expanding the company’s business partner portfolio with manufacturers, distributors, franchisors and many of the largest enterprise accounts throughout the United States. During his tenure, he led new strategic partnership initiatives and worked with B2B customers across over 60 major home service verticals. Symes said, “I am thrilled to join ToolBelt’s leadership team and utilize my extensive marketplace experience to help support and advance the company’s strategic business plan. This is an exciting time to join ToolBelt, particularly with the growing skilled labor shortage and the need for businesses to leverage technology more than ever before to easily identify qualified professionals to complete unfulfilled work.” He also added, “The ToolBelt platform is fantastic! It allows professionals to easily find more work by connecting them with businesses that are seeking skilled labor that focus specifically on their area of expertise and skills.”
After successful market penetration and adoption in the Western United States, ToolBelt is now live in Florida and will continue to move across the east in 2023. Thousands of contractors and tradespeople have already downloaded the app in these markets and await ToolBelt's launch.
