Jay shares how Fortify Building Solutions’ integration streamlines brand awareness and enhances customer service. “Our bread and butter are end users, small to mid-sized contractors,” Jay explains. “When you’re marketing three separate brands that are going after similar customers, it makes it a lot harder to really get that overall brand notoriety. So, we wanted to unite and align across that while maintaining what made each of those brands special and great.”

Each brand brings a unique value-add to the table. Metal Depots has a strong retail presence, offering a hands-on shopping experience in multiple locations across New Mexico, Texas, the Carolinas and Louisiana. “People can just walk in and touch, feel and see the products we sell,” Jay notes. Their close connection with sister brand MBCI provides access to a wide range of panel profiles and products. Reed’s Metals, with locations across the Southeast and new expansions in Montana, differentiates itself by speed. Jay explains, “If it’s a stock color or profile, we are able to turn a material around with a same-day, or at least next-day material pickup and delivery within 72 hours.” Heritage Building Systems, with its national sales center approach, extends Fortify Building Solutions’ reach across the U.S., utilizing Cornerstone Building Brands’ national footprint to serve customers even in areas without a local branch.
