In a recent interview at METALCON in Las Vegas, Brooks Morgan caught up with Mark MacDonald of Sherwin-Williams Coil Coatings to discuss the exciting developments the company is showcasing for contractors. 

Mark expressed his enthusiasm about the show around him, stating there was a lot of foot traffic and some of the best manufacturers in the country in attendance. “There’s really a lot of interest all around us. It's a really exciting place to be right now,” he said. 

When asked about Sherwin-Williams' offerings, Mark highlighted the services and value that they bring to their customers. He also discussed the company's dominance in the coil coatings industry, describing them as the highest quality paints globally.  

One of the services Sherwin-Williams was most excited to show was their revolutionary Roofing Passport in their MetalVue program. The Roofing Passport is an estimation tool in partnership with EagleView and Roofing Works, a service that is a testament to the company's commitment to cutting-edge solutions. 

Mark described MetalVue as a first-of-its-kind dealer program enabling manufacturers to tap into the country's burgeoning markets. He stated, “We have the first of its kind dealer program to enable our manufacturers to service a new market, which is the home improvement market, which is one of the most exciting opportunities in the United States to help grow the metal roofing presence in North America.” 

When questioned about his favorite aspect of METALCON, Mark expressed excitement about the industry's continued focus on technology. He said, "People care about servicing their customers and making money. The way you do that is through efficiency, efficiency of process and efficiency of technology.”
