ServiceCon 2025: A game-changer for roofing professionals

ServiceCon 2025 A game-changer for roofing professionals
September 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

By Jesse Sanchez.

Roofing leaders are gearing up for a unique conference focused on service-driven growth and collaboration in the industry.

The upcoming ServiceCon 2025, hosted by Centerpoint Connect, promises to shake up the traditional trade show format with its focus on actionable insights and peer collaboration for roofing professionals. Will Riley, a veteran of the roofing industry and a key figure at Centerpoint Connect, shared the inspiration behind acquiring and expanding the conference in this episode of Roofing Road Trips®

Will began his career on the software side of the industry before moving into commercial roofing and  recounted how his experience in developing a successful service division sparked the creation of Centerpoint Connect in 2020. "We created a three and a half million dollars service division," Will explained. "But the shift from roofing back to software was all a derivative from what we learned at that roofing company."

This transition led Will to seize the opportunity to take over ServiceCon, originally started by Ryan at STG. "I'm like, 'Man, there's something special here. These contractors are together andare thirsty for all things service-related, how do we make this bigger?'" Will shared.

Unlike other industry events, ServiceCon aims to be more than just a series of lectures. Will envisions a space where contractors can dissect service-oriented strategies and leave with tangible action items. "It's not the traditional show up and listen to someone talk," Will said. "How can it be more than that where there's an agenda, there's action items that you could take home with you and then the event almost lives on?"

ServiceCon 2025 will cater to both commercial and residential contractors interested in starting or expanding their service departments. Attendees can expect sessions tailored to their specific needs, from small-scale service startups to large-scale operations with 20-plus trucks in a single territory. The conference will feature a mix of industry experts, including Greg Hayne, Chad Westbrook, and Bryan Mitchell, although Will hinted that more contributors will be revealed as the schedule firms up.
