MetalForming to Unveil Exciting New Product at METALCON 20

MetalForming’s vice president of architectural sales teases a new product line that will revolutionize how metal professionals do business.  

Headquartered in Peachtree City, Georgia, MetalForming is the largest distributor and supplier of metal folding machines in North America. The company is dedicated to providing their customers with the best quality and high-performance products possible, and in a recent episode of the MetalCast podcast, the company’s Vice President of Architectural Sales, Ken McLauchlan, shared a hint about the new machinery the brand will be revealing at the METALCON expo this month. 

Ken shared that with the company’s innovative culture, receiving and considering customer feedback is an integral part of their creative process. Meeting the quality and production capacity needs of everyday users of their machines is the goal, and innovating a new product designed to anticipate and meet those expectations is something they have strived for with this new product. 

According to Ken, more industry professionals are looking to invest in technology that will allow them to manufacture needed materials offsite. He shared that contractors are saying, “‘We have to be able to control that fabrication closer, we have to be able to know we have material close, that we can fabricate it.’” Ken noted that contractors are willing to find creative solutions and supplement when needed, “’Whether it's bending certain profiles or whether it's roll forming different parts or being able to process different material.’”
