Get ready to explore this year’s International Builders’ Show!

The International Builders’ Show (IBS) is back and better than ever. 

If you work in the residential building industry, the International Builders’ Show (IBS) is the place to be. Hosted by National Association of Home Builders of the United States, the show will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada from February 25-27, 2025. To help you plan your time there, we made a quick guide! 

Trade show floor 

The Coffee Shops™ crew will be around on the trade show floor and will have our soundstage set up in the Westlake Royal Roofing Solutions booth (C3819), so make sure to stop by and say hi when you see us! And our friends from Tapco Tools (booth P331) will also be there, among over 1.8K other exhibitors!  

There are also some special zones you’ll want to check out: 

• New Product Zone: One of the most popular parts of the show floor is the new product zone. Stopping by here is a great way to see the newest products hitting the industry!  
• Start-Up Zone: Meet the emerging companies and products that will be changing the industry in the next few years! Featuring products that are less-than three years old, this zone is a peek into the future. 
• Construction Performance Zone: In this demo area you can watch experts showcase the best practices in the industry. Whether it’s basement moisture management or roofing construction tips, this is the place to see it firsthand. 
• Craft Techniques Zone: Take a deeper look into the details and finishes that make a home picture perfect in this zone. Featuring a variety of interactive demos, this hands-on learning experience will teach you valuable craft techniques and skills. 

Education opportunities 

Exploring the trade show floor is a huge part of this event, but it's only the start of what you can do at IBS! This show is also the perfect opportunity to learn the latest trends, newest techniques and actionable strategies that can improve your business! The 2025 IBS lineup is chock full of top industry experts ready to share their knowledge and insights. As attendee Lou Salge from Four Seasons Design & Remodeling put it, "Think about what you struggled with in the past year or two in your business or in your job, and there's somebody or something at the Builders' Show that can help you with that. There's nothing that you run into at any point in your business that you can't find an answer to there.” 

And there is a plethora of different ways to learn at IBS! 

• Game Changers: These daily keynotes will teach you how to revolutionize your business! These sessions are open to all attendees with an Expo+Education Pass. 
• Learning Labs: These fast-paced sessions are designed like TED-talks and bring you into the learning with interactive technology and audience participation. 
• Super Sessions: In these jam-packed sessions the spotlight is pointed at industry trends and forecasts. 
• Building Knowledge Sessions: These 60-minute sessions are the foundation of educational offerings at IBS. With 100+ sessions in nine tracks (covering topics ranging from business management to multifamily housing), there is a session for everyone! 

If you’re worried about keeping track of and having the time to attend everything, don’t worry! IBS offers Education On Demand to their Education+Expo Pass registrants. This gives you access to a full library of recorded sessions to revisit after the show ends!

Networking 

And education sessions are not the only space for learning at IBS! There will be a variety of networking events where attendees can learn, share and connect with each other! 

Tuesday, February 25 

• DCW Opening Ceremonies: Start your time at IBS off right with the Design & Construction Week® Opening Ceremonies. Powered by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, this event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and features David Spade. 
• Official IBS House Party: Celebrate with professionals from across the industry at the party! This is the biggest networking event at the show, so you do not want to miss it. Tickets are $75 each, including appetizers and a two-hour open bar, and can be purchased when you register. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. 
• The Nationals Awards Gala: This black-tie, multimedia celebration pays tribute to the achievements of professionals, home builders and their associates in the sales and marketing sector. This is a ticketed event and runs from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

Wednesday, February 26 

• IBS Young Pro Party: After a long day of meetings and learning, IBS has the perfect place for the young professionals on your team! This party (designed for those 40 and under) starts at 8:00 p.m. and features live entertainment, light bites and a three-hour open bar. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $55 each or in person (while supplies last) for $75 each. 
• Best in American Living™ Awards: The awards don’t stop after the first day! This ceremony recognizes this year’s most creative and skilled residential projects in the categories of design, remodeling, multifamily and offsite construction. The Remodeler of the Year award will also be announced! This is a ticketed event. 

Thursday, February 26 

• IBS Closing Concert: Finish your time at IBS strong with the closing concert! This iconic event will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Westgate - Paradise Event Center. This private concert will feature Grand Ole Opry member and multi-platinum singer and songwriter Chris Janson. Tickets are $65 each and can be added to your IBS registration.
