At the National Frame Building Association (NFBA) annual expo, Heidi J. Ellsworth met up with Eric Navarro from Central States Manufacturing to highlight some of their products. Eric has been working with Central States as a business product manager and was excited to talk about their company.
Central States Manufacturing is employee owned. Being an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company allows for employees to make decisions that would be best for them and the company. Eric says, “I invested a couple of years ago so I'm really happy about that.” Central States is a very well-known company in the roofing industry. They cover most of the United States and have been around for over thirty-five years.
One product that they are very proud of is their Panel-Loc Plus. It is an item that contractors frequently choose because of the easy application and its sleek appearance. “It’s our bread and butter,” says Eric. The panel itself is coated with premium coating by their partner Sherwin-Williams.
Detailing one of the reasons why Central States is in partnership with Sherwin-Williams and MetalVue is due to their willingness and forethinking of the future. Innovation is key for their progression and they continue to work with others to take more initiatives in the roofing industry.
