EagleView LIVE at IRE 2024

EagleView Live at IRE 2024
May 30, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

By Jonny Suchor.

Learn how EagleView's innovative drone assessment program and partnership with a leading digital visualizer company are delivering innovative solutions for contractors and homeowners.

At the 2024 International Roofing Expo (IRE), Karen Edwards from RoofersCoffeeShop® welcomed Rob Soper from EagleView to discuss the latest advancements they have introduced to the roofing industry. EagleView Assess, a drone program that offers fully autonomous drone operations for roof inspections and damage assessments which helps make these reports more efficient and accurate than ever before.

Rob explained, "When you order an assessment for a structure, the drone will map itself out, it'll fly the flight path, capture all the imagery... we essentially capture anywhere from three to 500 super high-resolution photographs." The process ends with a detailed report ready in roughly a day, providing details to help validate insurance claims and detect potential roof damage.

Just before IRE, EagleView announced its partnership with Renoworks, a leading digital visualizer, which now allows complete visualization of not just roofs but the entire exterior of structures. "It can capture the entire exterior of the structure and visualize it in three dimensions... and if you have an EagleView account already existing and you're a Renoworks Pro customer, you have unlimited visualizations,” said Rob.

This is a game-changer for contractors, enabling them to provide homeowners with a visual confirmation of what different colors and materials will look like on their actual homes. Rob explained, "It softens the decision-making and makes it go a bit quicker... contractors can set in filters too, so if you're an Owens Corning or a GAF contractor, you can only allow those products and those colors that you sell to be visible for the homeowner."

Rob outlined the impact of EagleView's technological advancements on the roofing industry, from the Assess drone improving the claims process to Renoworks Pro revolutionizing client engagement and decision-making in roofing projects.
