Contractors can use EagleView and AccuLynx to Upsell Home Improvements

Accurate and accessible data is increasingly important for contractors facing challenges like evolving homeowner expectations and economic factors. 

In a recent Read, Listen, Watch webinar, host Heidi J. Ellsworth had a conversation with Brady Campbell from EagleView and Lynn Foster from AccuLynx about how technology can be a game changer for contractors in the roofing and exterior industry. By integrating EagleView's roof and wall reports with AccuLynx software contractors can upsell on new siding, gutters and other exterior finishes.  

In stark contrast to traditional satellite images, EagleView's high-definition aerial imagery displays a level of accuracy that can't be achieved using traditional methods. "We can go and grab the imagery to give you a really accurate report for your roof and walls," Brady said. He pointed out that accurate data makes all the difference for contractors who aim to win in a competitive market. "Having the data... that's what's going to get you there and that's what makes that process repeatable and more profitable for the end of the year," he added. 

On the other hand, Lynn offered insights into the efficiency gains achieved when AccuLynx is used as a central hub for contracting businesses. "What technology does for the roofing contractor, it’s really three things, communication, organization and standardization," Lynn explained. He noted that the integration of EagleView's XML data into AccuLynx not only streamlines processes but also minimizes waste, a significant factor for profitability.  

The podcast also highlighted how contractors are increasingly leveraging these technologies to upsell services. With EagleView's data easily integrated into AccuLynx, contractors can offer better estimates, optimize resource allocation and ultimately increase profitability. 

In today's competitive contracting market, it's not just about getting the job done. It’s also about finishing the job efficiently and effectively to boost the bottom line. As Brady succinctly put it, "You actually don't make any money measuring. You actually make money selling."
