CIDAN showcases their top innovative products

The President of CIDAN Machinery Group highlighted the company’s amazing machines as well as their commitment to the industry. 

In an interview at METALCON, Chandler Barden, president of CIDAN Machinery Group showcased the company's many innovative products, including the F32 with XSPACE. He highlighted the recessed folding beam that allows you to create tighter metal profiles for high-pitched roofs. The machine also creates more workspace for operators and you can use it to add channels. 

"It actually has a taper back gauge. So, the back gauge can offset to one side or the other to make a taper part so you can let parts overlap each other,” Chandler said. “And it's of course CNC controlled and very user friendly and a very popular product." 

When asked about the company’s experience at the show, Chandler remarked that it had been a great show for them with record attendance. He also stated that the show had a technical focus, with attendees seeking in-depth information. He said, "We've spent a lot of time with customers going from nuts to bolts demos all the way through. So, it's been really good." 

Another star product CIDAN highlighted at the show was their automated TD system. The system, a double folder, facilitates the formation of custom wall panels and trim. It also won the most innovative product award at METALCON last year and continues to be highly sought after. "This is probably our biggest hit at the show right now," Chandler said. 

Chandler told us that they’ll be attending the 2024 International Roofing Expo, which will also be held in Las Vegas. He said that he and his colleagues were joking around that if their machines weren’t sold, they could just leave them there until next year. But lucky for them, they sold all their machines at the show.
