25' Sporting Clays Competition

Friday, April 11, 2025, | Tacoma Sportsmen's Club, Puyallup | 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Invite your crew, coworkers, family, and friends and enjoy your last day of the week shooting skeets, and networking with numerous industry professionals. This competition is sanctioned and run by the Tacoma Sportsmen's Club and safety will be monitored and be the top priority. We encourage you to bring your own shotgun, however, limited gun rentals are available (you must call ahead to confirm).

This event is planned for a maximum of 60 participants in a competition which will drill down to the top shooters for bragging rights, hundreds of dollars, and trophy recognition. As you check-in, don't forget to purchase your raffle tickets to win hundreds of dollars in amazing prizes.

When you're finished shooting and all gear is put away, talk with our table sponsors, mingle with other roofing professionals and absolutely, purchase more raffle tickets so you can win, one or more, of thousands of dollars in prizes. 11th Annual Salmon Derby Competition

Point Defiance Marina, Tacoma | DAWN to 2 p.m. on August 1, 2025

Join RCAW Members and friends at the 11th Annual Salmon Derby at the Point Defiance Marina on August 1, 2025, starting at DAWN, all Salmon MUST be weighed by 2 p.m. at the Point Defiance Marina.

You MUST check-in at the RCAW Registration Table BEFORE you weigh your fish to get an official Salmon Derby wrist band and FREE Salmon Raffle Ticket to win an amazing prize. We will be searching for the BIGGEST salmon and hand out thousands in cash and prizes.

The first-place winner will get your name on the infamous RCAW Salmon Derby Trophy, $1,000 and bragging rights are on the line. We will have a delicious hot dog stand serving lunch at 11am and you can enjoy food while on the dock listening to the LIVE Billy Shew Band.

You can use your own boats fishing in areas, 10, 11 and 13, OR you can rent them from the Point Defiance Marina by calling (253) 404-3960 (MUST call at least 2 weeks ahead of time). You can also fish off the Point Defiance Marina Dock. Small 14’ boats with motor can be rented at the dock (Pt. Membership Types

RCAW operates with a board of 12 voting directors. Each director serves a three-year term, and directors are elected each year as terms expire. RCAW’s Executive Committee is composed of the President, Vice-President, Secretary and 1-Year Past President. RCAW’s various programs and services are derived from its committees, which are appointed each year.

Nominations for RCAW officers and directors are received from individual members. RCAW puts nominees to a vote of the membership the first week of October and the new board is announced at the October Annual Meeting.

The chief paid executive is the Executive Director. The Executive Director responsible for the function and effectiveness of the RCAW and its personnel. Each staff person has specific assigned areas of responsibility and may work with several committees.

If you are interested in service on our board of directors you must be a member of the association. Please reach out to director@rcaw.com. We would love to have you. The voting member from each member company will have the opportunity for their voice to be heard and vote for the current board openings. We have openings for 1 contractor member and 1 associate (manufacturer, distributor, associated businesses) member to join the board of directors at this juncture.
