Oliver Bell is the chief operating officer of The Barndominium Company, a residential and commercial Barndominium design and construction consulting firm that helps clients design and secure their dream home while providing access to the lifestyle they desire for their immediate and extended family. He coordinates operations, material and product supply, facilities, publications and retail operations for TBC. The company has been featured in the New York Times, Texas Monthly Magazine, The Houston Chronicle, Texas CEO Magazine, Cowboy Lifestyle Magazine and on the four Houston area local television network affiliates (ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC). They have a fair-sized social media presence with over 1,500,000 followers.
In addition, Mr. Bell currently serves as the vice-chairman of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission advising Texans on nature conservation objectives, hunting and fishing regulation and state park operations. He also served as chairman of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice and is on the board of the Prison Entrepreneurship Program and Eckerd Connects.
Mr. Bell, a former Army Ranger and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, regularly speaks on business and leadership issues. He lives in Cleveland, Texas with his wife, Stacee Lynn, who is an entrepreneur specializing in Barndominium design, construction and décor. He has two adult daughters and a son-in-law– all West Point graduates.
