Since 1991, New Tech Machinery (NTM) has helped contractors worldwide gain more control of their projects and profits by manufacturing the world’s finest portable rollforming machines.
Our seamless gutter machines and metal roof panel machines have revolutionized the metal construction industry by bringing versatile, easy-to-use rollforming products directly to the job site.
Our equipment is backed by the best minds in the business, and our designs are the most copied throughout the industry.
New Tech Machinery introduced the SSP Roof Panel Machine in 1991 and MACH II Seamless Gutter Machine in 1994. NTM was also the first portable rollforming company to commercially produce and market a polyurethane drive roller machine with separate forming rollers. Today, most portable rollformers have adopted this technology.
New Tech Machinery was founded by Larry Coben in Denver, Colorado. Currently New Tech Machinery is based in Aurora, Colorado and opened a second manufacturing location in 2004 in Hermosillo, Mexico. In 2015, New Tech Machinery was acquired by Mazzella Companies. The acquisition has allowed NTM to maintain its lead as the world’s finest portable roof panel and gutter machine manufacturer.
New Tech Machinery is excited to announce the launch of its newest profile, the Board and Batten.
The board and batten profile resulted from numerous market requests. This innovative new profile produces panels with a unique blend of durability and aesthetics, ideal for modern construction projects while still reminiscent of old-style farmhouse siding.
This profile will fit into our popular SSQ II, as well as our older SSQ machines.

How do you adjust the encoder so it is properly tensioned on NTM machines?
This video covers how to ensure the encoder is properly tensioned and making consistent contact with material as it goes through the machine.
The location of the encoder varies between machines, but the adjustment process is the same.
Note that new SSQ II machines come with a self-tensioned encoder.
How do you adjust the entry guides on an NTM MACH II Gutter Machine?
In order to ensure that material is properly loaded into your gutter machine, the entry guides may need to be adjusted.
If the lip of the gutter your machine produces is either too large or too small, the entry guide adjustment can increase or decrease the width of the lip.
The UNIQ Control System is not only a batch and length controller, it also offers new and improved safety features, an easier and more user-friendly interface, and is compliant with CE standards. The UNIQ Control System will know the exact length and quantity of the panels input into the system, if you want notching features added, and will direct the machine’s start drive, notching, and shear functions.
With improved troubleshooting capabilities, the UNIQ Control System will allow machine operators to fix problems on their own, reducing downtime on projects. Error messages will pop up on the touchscreen when diagnosing problems and include help pages and videos for user assistance.
UNIQ Control System is also integrated with AppliCad software, making importing cut lists even easier and more accurate. The control system will take the cut list directly from AppliCad and import it into the machine automatically.
