Cougar Paws brand boots and accessories were developed by a guy like you – a roofer – so we know the "ups and downs" of working above the ground. We specialize in traction boots, tools and accessories for roofers, appraisers and others in the industry who demand only the best in grip, traction and comfort. Founded in 1996 by Dan Cougar, we continue to focus on product innovation by bringing the latest technology to each generation of our products. Over the years, we’ve expanded from the patented traction-grip roofing shoe into a complete line of heavy-duty footwear, replaceable traction pads and anti-slip accessories.
The Steel Walker II
Our newest leather boot has a vintage look that is ultra-strong and ultra-durable in construction. The interior is lined with a moisture-wicking material that absorbs sweat and keeps your foot cool and dry. As for comfort, we’ve added triple-ply cushioning that allows for a smooth ride. And along with our powerful magnets, we have introduced a softer rubber sole and enhanced tread design for maximum grip.

The Estimator
Traction-grip technology is not limited to heavy-duty work boots. Cougar Paws has developed a lightweight alternative to the Peak Performer Roofing Boots that provides an extra layer of comfort and flexibility. The nylon/leather Estimator Roofing boots give the same stability with a more stylish, lighter design. Designed for light-duty use, such as inspections. The Estimator Roofing Shoes boast a reinforced toe, insulated soles and cushioned arch support.

The Performer
Our Flagship model, this 6” boot has a soft flexible leather upper, and an adjustable strap provides increased comfort and stability. Our boot keeps your foot cooler than any other roofing boot. Thermally designed to protect your foot from the high temperatures on the roof.

Cougar Paws Covers
Protect your paws with our new Cougar Paws Covers. It slides on and off in seconds. The flexible material gives a snug fit without losing its shape.
Don’t risk falling at work because of inadequate or heavily worn equipment. Our Cougar Paws boot covers work to protect your Cougar Paws replacement pads while you are walking the job site or in a customer’s home. The Cover works with all styles of boots. NOT FOR USE ON THE ROOF, FOR GROUND USE ONLY.
Cougar Paws Spiked Cover
Our Cougar Paws roofing spike cover is ideal for roof tear-offs. The roofing spike cover provides maximum holding power and durability. Our roofing cleats or spikes work well to give you better footing while roofing on a variety of surfaces. Our roofing products are dependable and will help you get the job done safely.
Note these spike covers are not recommended for new roof surfaces. These can also be used with some other brands of boots and shoes.
Additional Accessories
Cougar Paws offers additional accessories and replacement parts for our patented boots including spikes, laces and straps! Roofing shoelaces, spikes and straps take a lot of punishment throughout a workday and it’s always a good idea to stock up and keep extras in your roofing bag. Be sure to replace boot laces often to ensure optimal fit and reliability of your boots.
