Top February Articles: The International Roofing Expo, Metal Roofing Alliance and Safe Work Practices

Here’s what’s been trending on MetalCoffeeShop™ (MCS) this past month. 

Not only is MCS a great place to learn about news in the metal industry, but it’s also a valuable resource to learn about all sectors of the construction industry. One trend we noticed by looking at February’s top five most-read articles was that there is major interest in the roofing industry. Two of our top five articles from February are highlighting the 2023 International Roofing Expo (IRE), the roofing industry’s biggest annual expo!  

Regarding roofing, metal roofing in particular, one of our top articles of the month was highlighting the Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) and all of the great work they do. This article discusses the approval process contractors must go through to join the MRA and how joining the organization can help benefit their company. 

Another trend we saw this last month was adopting safe workplace practices. Two of our top articles came to us from John Kenney of Cotney Consulting Group, who frequently writes for us about the topic of safety. One of the articles discusses how contractors can create a safety program and the other discusses essential skills front-line supervisors should have (safety being one of them).
