The residential construction industry is bustling, which means the need for reliable tradespeople is growing. Contractors are looking for labor and construction workers are looking to work. To address this, Toolbelt created their own mobile app that facilitates these connections. Their mission is to connect the construction industry. What was once a convoluted process has been simplified by Toolbelt.
CEO, Josh Englebrecht and Director of Channel Partners, Mark Berger, sat down with Kathy Ireland to explain how ToolBelt works. To exemplify who their target users are, Josh told a story about a construction worker in need of a better solution.
“I met this builder who had moved to the area. He had no pre-existing relationships. When I met him, he literally had a sheet of paper in front of him that he had got from another builder. It was that builder’s subcontractors. He was picking up the phone and calling people. I was like, ‘hey, I think I have a simpler solution for this.’”
This builder had been calling people for two months, and Josh helped him find work in less than 10 days. As is their motto, “Toolbelt is where construction connects.” For the builder in the story, nothing has ever worked as well for networking as Toolbelt does.
It takes 21 trades to build a house. Workers need to be hired to do the siding, plumbing, roofing, etc. With this many workers involved in one project, there needs to be an easy way to organize communication. ToolBelt is where this organization happens.
If you’re looking to simplify your networking process, ToolBelt is worth looking into. It is available now on the Google Play Store and the App Store.
