Selling for the digital age

Eagleview Assess Selling for the digital age

Learn how a partnership between two industry tech powerhouses, EagleView and Renoworks, can help your sales process.

EagleView and Renoworks are two well-known names in the industry, especially when it comes to revolutionizing traditional processes with new technology. In this episode of Roofing Road Trips®, Heidi J. Ellsworth talks to Brady Campbell of EagleView and Doug Vickerson of Renoworks about how these two companies are partnering to build a better sales process for contractors.

EagleView’s imaging has allowed contractors to get accurate estimates on material and labor needs for years now. Around fifteen years ago, the collected data was sent to them in the form of an emailed, pdf report. While this worked then, consumers today are looking for more in-depth, interactive and seamless experiences. That’s why the partnership with Renoworks is a natural fit. Brady explained, “We want to give the contractors the ability to really show everything possible that they're serving, whether it's roofing, siding, windows and doors, anything like that. And so, it was a no-brainer for us to match up with Renoworks, the most robust catalog out there in the market.”

The catalog he is referencing is Renoworks’ product library. Doug explained, “The whole concept of Renowork started when our founder, he was a remodel contractor in Calgary, Alberta, he had asked himself enough times, ‘What will the project look like?’ People want to see what the colors and the different styles look on their house. So, for every year since our inception to now, we continue to add new product libraries to our platform.” This has created a 25 year, and counting, archive of materials and products that can be applied to 3D models to give a clear picture of what a project might look like. Brady summed it up, saying, “We want contractors to be able to serve up all the data they need, and they knock on the door, and they have a full presentation that includes a visual representation of what that homeowner wants. They can pick a couple colors, they can see it in 3D, they can see it in an environment.”
