In the MetalTalk® webinar, “Use AI to recession-proof your business,” host Karen Edwards sat down with Amir Davani of Rilla to discuss the best ways businesses can implement artificial intelligence (AI) platforms and technologies into their business practices to boost their market reach! As the metal construction industry continues to embrace the power of digital technologies, now more than ever it is important to find ways to use these AI applications to your advantage!
While in the past the construction industries have been slower to adopt digital forms of doing business or managing marketing and sales strategies, there has been a recent shift in this mindset. Many business owners are seeing the benefits and hassle-free ways these technologies can help them build and promote their businesses in a much simpler way.
Amir discussed the ways contractors are starting to realize this shift and the benefits they could be reaping. He shared, “When a contractor's running a business, the biggest thing that really matters is the customer experience. You've got to shift from ‘What I am not doing?’ to ‘What does the customer need? What am I not fulfilling for my customers right now that I could be doing?’ And here I could leverage artificial intelligence technology to fill those gaps in your business that you can't use.”
He continued, “It's really important to be mindful of where you need to recognize and adopt these new technologies because at first, obviously it's not easy, but the sooner that we do adopt these technologies, the sooner that we can actually leverage ourselves.” The two agreed that knowledge is power, and by using AI to learn more about the needs of customers and how to best meet them where they are with a solid solution, contractors can almost guarantee to see an increase in customer loyalty, trust and continued business.
Amir shared, “Using these technologies make you get the most out of every single lead. So, at the end of the day, the costs of leads have gone up drastically. You need to make sure that you're leveraging technology to get the most out of what you're spending, such as using quality AI programs, and in turn, you can be recession proof that way.”
