Nathan Collard of Pacific Partners Consulting was struggling. Being a commercial firm for building designs, his job was to connect with customers; find their vision or aesthetic that they wanted their building to emulate. Whether it was a restaurant, or retail space, Pacific Partners Consulting took pride in their work.
Unfortunately, Nathan faced many challenges. Three guidelines Pacific Partners like to follow for a project are quality, scheduling and budget. For a job to succeed, they need at least two out of the three. In this field, the only real sacrifice that could be made is scheduling because the other two are necessities. On top of tracking down jobs, staffing has also become another obstacle. Making twelve to fifteen phone calls a day, Nathan is spending all this time on the phone instead of completing other important tasks for his job and spending time with his family. “I’m working twelve-hour days just to staff a job,” he claims.
With ToolBelt, he can now post a job and emotionally let go of it. All Nathan has to do is post the job on ToolBelt and once its posted, he’s able to focus on his current project. “The real impact that Toolbelt had for me, is to allow me to set aside the stress of staffing jobs. Not wondering if I’m taking on a contract that I’m actually going to be able to fulfill.” Being relieved of this stress has allowed him to but back energy to things is valuable to him such as his wife and kids. “It allows me to enjoy life.”
