Reach New Heights With Aerial Image Technology

EagleView Aerial Image Technology

By Evelyn Witterholt.

By utilizing accurate measurements and images from aerial image technology, you’ll be able to complete jobs more effectively and will see a boost in your reputation.

In a recent article for Metal Roofing Magazine, Piers Dormeyer, president of EagleView, highlights the many benefits of using aerial image technology. He discusses the business growth contractors will experience when using measurements from aerial image technology as well as how it can help roofers book more metal roofing jobs.

One of the main benefits of using aerial image technology is that it saves roofing businesses time and money. Without the use of this technology, businesses have to visit sites multiple times and take hand measurements. This takes up more time and could lead to less accurate measurements.

“Your measurements are the basis for your bid, and for material you order,” Piers says. “Getting either wrong... endangers your chances to win the job or have the correct materials on the job site, and your ability to make a fair profit and grow a healthy, thriving business.”

Piers says that using aerial image technology could decrease the cost of metal roofs for customers. Although metal roofs are seen as a higher-end roofing material, he offers tips on how roofers can work with customers to make them less expensive. “Aerial imagery offers dramatic and proven suppression of the costs of acquiring work,” he says. “In turn, roofers can make metal roofs less expensive and spur growth in this industry segment.”
