By National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
COVID-19 has affected everyone and everything, and the roofing industry is no different. Amidst the post pandemic boom, severe shortages on materials are becoming the newest challenge to the industry. Supply chains disrupted by lockdowns, tariffs and other factors cause delays and limited availability on top of surging prices.
In response, NRCA has made available a Supply Chain Shortage Information webpage to help its members stay up to date with the latest news regarding materials shortages and price hikes in the industry.
The new page also houses a recording of NRCA’s April 22 Live Action Alert: Supply Chain Shortages, during which NRCA CEO Reid Ribble and NRCA Vice President of Technical Services Mark Graham discussed the materials shortage issue facing the roofing industry.
