National Women in Roofing (NWIR) held their annual meeting, NWIR Days, in Las Vegas on February 4 – 5, 2024. At the event, the membership approved eight new appointments to their Board of Directors. These newly-elected officers fill a variety of roles on various committees including one seat on the NWIR Executive Committee.
The new additions include Sej Deribin of Capitol Roofing Company (Chair of Events), Dawn Holsinger of Delta Rep Group (Executive Committee/Board Secretary), Michelle Lexvold of Art Unlimited (Vice-Chair of Membership), Megan Malone of Rackley Roofing (Vice-Chair of Councils), Mandy McIntyre of Level Up Consultants (Chair of DEI), Danielle Pack of USG Securock (Chair of Mentoring), Minnie Robles of Johns Manville (Vice-Chair of DEI) and Cori Vernam of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing (Vice-Chair of Community Service).
National Women in Roofing was founded in 2016 and exists to empower women in the roofing industry as well as foster industry recruitment to enable more female representation in the field. The responsibilities of these board representatives will each contribute to the pillars of the organization which include education, networking, mentoring and industry recruitment.
