Metal Sales Announces New Line of Concealed Fastener Wall Panels

Check out this great new line of metal panels from Metal Sales. 

Metal Sales has expanded its Empire Series product range with the introduction of the EM15-1222 series of panels. The new panels feature popular profile appearances previously only available in the TL17 series of profiles, but now offered in a clip version for added strength. Metal Sales branches have already started accepting orders for these panels, which are available in steel and aluminum, with thicknesses ranging from 24 gauge to 0.040." 

Product overview  

The EM15-1222 panels have a coverage of 12" and a rib height of 1.5". The panels have a concealed clip fastening system with a standard PVDF finish. They are available in lengths of up to 30.' 

The EM15-1222 series includes six profiles: EM15-1222, EM15-262, EM15-622, EM15-1224, EM15-1226, and EM15-1262. Metal Sales has also updated its installation guide, specification data sheet, 3-part specification, condensed tech ref sheets (CTR), facility guide and warranty summary to include this new series of panels. 

Website enhancements 

Metal Sales has made several updates to its website to provide customers with more information about the new EM15-1222 series of panels. Each new profile in this series now has its own panel page, and the resources section of the website has been updated with the new EM15-1222 installation guide, specification data sheets, and three-part guide specs. 

Panel joinery  

The EM15-1222 panels share the same joinery as Metal Sales' current concealed fastened wall panels. This means that they can be installed with any of the company's 1.5" tall concealed fastened wall panels for ultimate design flexibility. 

What's new  

The new Low Clip is a 4" long "Bermuda-style" clip that has been designed to carry greater suction load than the current clip, making it more cost-effective and easier to install. The new clip is less likely to close the open hem on the panel if the fastener is over-tightened. However, it is important to note that the Departing Clip does not fit several of the profiles in this new series. Over the next few months, the Departing Clip will be phased out in favor of the new 4" Low Clip as the install guides for Apex, Contempra, and 1" Empire Series panels are updated. After these updates, the current clip will be retired.
