How AI Roofing Sales Technology Enhances Productivity and Training

Rilla AI Roofing Sales Technology
October 28, 2023 at 5:00 a.m.

By Adam Cabrera.

AI-based speech analytics software can identify conversational patterns in top-performing salespeople to enhance sales training and customer interactions.

The construction industry is often perceived as traditional, but a recent MetalCast™ episode reveals that this isn't the case, at least in the home improvement and roofing sectors. In the episode, Heidi J. Ellsworth sat down with Sebastian Jimenez, founder and CEO of Rilla, a speech analytics software that leverages AI to improve sales processes.

According to Sebastian, the home improvement and roofing industries are among the first to adopt AI and technology. “What Rilla does is it looks at patterns for how the top-performing salespeople in a team talk, how fast, how much, how many questions do they ask,” he said. These insights are then shared across the sales team, streamlining customer interactions and increasing sales efficacy.

Rillavoice eliminates the need for physical ride-alongs by sales managers. Instead, it enables virtual ride-alongs by transcribing, analyzing and providing feedback on sales conversations. “We're changing the way we coach or manage our salespeople because now we can do it virtually,” Sebastian noted. This improves the training process, making it faster and giving sales managers a more productive opportunity to assess their team’s performance.

The software is also integrated into the MetalVue program, an initiative designed to assist contractors in selling more metal roofs. This synergy helps to push the concept of 'sales coach as a service' forward — another innovation Jimenez believes will take off.

For companies looking to be at the forefront of sales technology, adopting AI software like Rillavoice can offer competitive advantages.
