The Student-Athlete High Performance Center at the Northern Arizona University recently got a new look with the help of metal wall panels. The 72,000 square-foot center for training, medicine and academic support had its exterior redone with the cool look of metal. The building will also function as a center where new athletes can be recruited along with supporting current ones too.
A total of 25,500 square feet of our KS Mini Micro-Rib insulated metal panels were used for this project. KS Series insulated metal wall panels provide unique aesthetics through a wide range of profiles, all while delivering supreme thermal performance, a critical aspect for the Student Athlete High Performance Center. Adjustable module widths integrate for distinct architectural flair. KS Series panels can also be customized with trimless ends and pre-formed corners to provide a clean, finished appearance.
Kingspan insulated metal panels were chosen for this project for their ease of installation and design flexibility. KS Series insulated metal wall panels provide unique aesthetics through a wide range of profiles, all while delivering supreme thermal performance. With energy efficiency as a top priority, insulated metal panels help the athletic facility achieve those goals as a highly effective air, water and vapor barrier, all while providing a distinct look through the texture of the KS Mini Micro-Rib profile. Insulated metal panels only require an installer, rather than multiple trades, cutting down on construction time. With weather a concern in the mountains, this was a critical reason to select the all-in-one modular assembly of insulated metal panels.
