Guess Who’s Growing in Texas?

A new phase of growth, means a new warehouse for Tilcor Roofing Systems.

Tilcor Roofing Systems has some exciting news!  They are entering their next phase of business growth by opening a new warehouse in the “Lone Star State” of Texas.  

Established in 1989, Tilcor Roofing Systems specializes in stone-coated steel roofing systems.  For the last 30 years, Tilcor has supplied roofing contractors, distributors, builders and homeowners with a superior class 4 hail rated roofing system.  Their products are manufactured in New Zealand and installed in more than 80 countries.  Tilcor has gained status as a world leader in stone coated steel roofing. 

Tilcor produces four distinctive tile profiles that will cater to every homeowner’s personal preference.  Profiles include: Craftsman Shake, Antica, CF Shingle and CF Shake.  Their lightweight tiles can be utilized on residential and commercial buildings and every project in-between.  In addition to the class 4 hail rating, the Tilcor range of products also has Miami-Dade and Florida Building code approvals with a wind rating of 131 miles per hour.  The Tilcor roofing system can also achieve a Class A fire rating with proper installation. 

Dave Mills, the vice president of sales and marketing, wrote in a letter to Tilcor’s customer and distributor partners, “We hope you are all safe during this unprecedented time.  We continue to service our customers and like all of you, we have had our fair share of business interruptions.  However, we are excited to announce the next phase of our growth— a move into our own location with a team dedicated to serving you at the highest level.”

They have already started the transition to their new warehouse in Grand Prairie, Texas.  Vicky Rekemeyer, the operations manager for Tilcor, will be overseeing the new warehouse.  She will also be in charge of customer service as they make their transition from California to Texas.

While these are uncertain times because of the current pandemic, Tilcor is still planning on celebrating their growth.  They anticipate the grand opening of their Texas warehouse will take place on June 1, 2020!
