EagleView’s Roofing Passport makes it easy to insert your measurements and get estimates delivered quickly. On a recent episode of MetalCast, host Heidi J. Ellsworth, brought in guest Rob Soper of EagleView to talk about the special application.
Roofing Passport takes XML file data from PDF files and gets you estimates within minutes. This is a great tool for asphalt roofers who are wanting to do more metal roofing. It allows the contractors to confidently bid on jobs.
“[Roofing Passport] is giving these asphalt contractors who would just be turning away opportunities in the metal side on residential roofing to actually get out there and approach and bid and bid confidently,” says Rob. “And we see it from the people we talk to that the finished metal estimate that comes out of the Roofing Passport is within $100 or $200 of the actual material costs that are delivered to the job.”
Roofing Passport also provides a cut list that is bound to save contractors hours of time without exerting their energy on the cut list. Rob told Heidi, “I was demonstrating Roofing Passport to a contractor in Seattle a few months ago, and they've told me now that just the bidding through the Roofing Passport saves them at least 48 to 72 hours of time and on the job site with the cut list that the Roofing Passport provides, job site material organization, he said it saves them two to three days of production time.”
EagleView's Roofing Passport is a game-changer for contractors in the roofing industry. It provides quick and accurate estimates for metal roofing projects and saves valuable time with its cut list feature. This technology is a valuable asset for contractors looking to expand their services and increase their efficiency on the job site.
