Congratulations to the METALCON 2023 People’s Choice Awards winners!

The Top Product Award winners were chosen for their innovative impact on the metal construction industry!  

This year’s METALCON was a great success for those who attended the event in Las Vegas this past October, especially for those who won the Top Product Award! Five winners for the Top Product Award were nominated by the people’s choice, each representing a favorite product that has made an impact on the metal community.  

Starting in 2021, the METALCON Top Product Award was created to honor the most innovative products revolutionizing the industry and making a positive impact on the trade. These products, tools and innovations were nominated by different categories.   

Congratulations to the winners of the Top Product Award categories:  

• Accessories: S-5!® – PVKIT HUR 
• Contractor Tools and Equipment: Wood’s Powr-Grip – MTEX-DC3 Vacuum Lifter for Insulated Metal Panels 
• Insulation and Weather Barriers: PAC-CLAD – PAC-CLAD HT

Each category’s winner was then voted on in the People’s Choice Award competition, which was also open to the public over the course of the convention. On the last day of METALCON, October 20, 2023, the final winners were announced.  

3 - CIDAN Machinery Group – XTap & XSpace 

In third place, the people voted for CIDAN Machinery Group’s roll forming equipment. Their high-quality equipment has revolutionized how metal professionals work with challenging profiles and offers users ease of handling and flexibility creating the ideal panels for their customized projects. 

2 - S-5! – PVKIT HUR 

From the accessories category, the S-5! PVKIT HUR took second place. This solar mounting attachment is the latest and greatest iteration of the brand’s tried and true PVKIT line. These attachments are fantastic for metal roofing projects, designed to prevent the solar equipment from making direct contact with or damaging the metal roof.

From the technology category, MetalTalk is a unique webinar series designed to bring metal professionals educational and engaging content in the way they prefer, whether that is to Read, Listen or Watch the content. MetalTalk is one-of-a-kind in the metal industry, being the only source offering content in all three formats for the participant’s enjoyment.
