Checking in with Chicago Metal Supply at IRE 2024!

The Chicago Metal Supply team showcase their talents in copper restoration work at their booth at IRE 2024. 

Chicago Metal Supply is a well-known business in the industry, dedicated to mastering the art of metal working and providing new renovations to historical restoration projects that do the original structure justice. Through their metal craftsmanship, the Chicago Metal Supply team has helped breathe new life into many historical landmarks and structures, continuing the legacy and heritage of those projects for the next generation to appreciate. Over the years, building owners and historical preservation societies across North America have enlisted their services to help complete delicate restoration projects. 

Karen Edwards from the Coffee Shops got the chance to catch up with the Chicago Metal Supply team at the 2024 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas, where they were showcasing their phenomenal metal work on the trade show floor. In her conversation with company president Alina Bosak and her father Bogdan Bosak, Karen discusses the unique work Chicago Metal Supply does when lending their talents to copper restoration projects.  

Chicago Metal Supply provides their restoration work to building owners and historical societies across the nation, their work being a hard to come by niche in today’s world where such detailed work and copper skills are not so common anymore.  

Alina shared that their team attends several trade shows across the country each year, showcasing their unique copper and restoration capabilities for attendees to see firsthand. “[Copper work] is something not a lot of people can do, and it's beautiful work,” she explained.  

In their booth, Chicago Metal Supply showcased a special example of their copper capabilities, featuring copper samples from past projects. Boguslaw shared, “We’ve been very fortunate to have many people trust us with their historical projects around the country that we have been able to help restore to their former glory.”
