Cast your vote for a distinguished woman in roofing for this special award!

The top five nominees for the Beacon Female Roofing Professional of the Year Award have been announced! 

Voting is now open for the North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year Award. Each year, Beacon Building Products awards a distinguished, hardworking woman roofing professional for her impact and dedication to the roofing industry. Industry professionals are encouraged to vote for a candidate who embodies the values of dedication and commitment to the roofing community.  

The award will be given to a candidate who demonstrates care and hard work for her career, co-workers, customers and the community at large – a woman who leads by example. The winner of the Female Roofing Professional of the Year Award will be an individual who inspires fellow industry members and strives towards building the community towards a better tomorrow, a distinguished woman of her community and profession.  

The chosen nominees were selected from submissions of woman working in the North American roofing industry, in jobs such as (not limited to): office managers, project managers, roof installers, siding professionals, payroll managers, marketing and communications professionals, roofing business owners, accountants and more!  

The 2024 Female Roofing Professional Finalists are:  

• Brooke Laizure, owner of Whirlwind Roofing & Construction in Bixby, Oklahoma 
• Melanie Knox, success director of Restoration Builders in Round Rock, Texas 
• Sarah Lechowich, founder and CEO of True North Roofing LLC in Cottage Grove Minnesota 
• Tomie Kay Morse, owner and operator of Morse Home Improvement in Dagsboro, Delaware 
• Millie Hinds, founder and CEO of Watergate Roofing in Indianapolis, Indiana 

The top four runners-up nominees will be awarded $1,000 in prizes and the grand winner of the Female Roofing Professional of the Year Award will receive a grand price of $10,000! The voting period is open until June 5, 2024.
