ATAS introduces eight stock colors in .063 aluminum

New aluminum colors transforming commercial and residential buildings.

ATAS International will now be stocking eight new colors in .063 aluminum, including, Black, Matte Black, Charcoal Grey, Slate Grey, Silversmith and Titanium, all in a 70% PVDF finish, and two anodized colors: LA Extra Dark Bronze Anodized and BlackMatt Anodized. With the addition of these eight colors, ATAS will now have 16 colors in stock of this thicker aluminum, which includes Classic Bronze, Medium Bronze, Dove Grey, Sandstone, Ascot White, Bone White, all in a 70% PVDF finish, as well as Clear Satin Anodized and Mill Finish Aluminum. 

The expanding stock will allow ATAS to offer Omawall and custom profiles in a wider variety of colors. Omawall is an architectural back ventilated rainscreen wall panel, manufactured in .063 aluminum. It installs quickly and easily in horizontal or vertical orientation without separate gaskets or metal splines, due to the unique interlocking dry joint design. The standard module size is 18” x 96”, however, custom sizes are available. The depth of the panel is 1-1/2” and the reveal measures 5/8”. This panel is ideal for all types of commercial, educational, and healthcare buildings, as well as multi-family residential and mixed-use buildings. Omawall is available in over 45 standard colors, as well as custom colors. For small orders, ATAS has the capability of post-painting the panels at a cost far less than prepainting an entire coil, which ensures meeting a building’s design intent without breaking the budget.

ATAS added Omawall to the product offering in 2021. The product name pays tribute to the Dutch heritage of the founders of ATAS, Jack and Nel Bus, who started the business in 1963. Nel has many grandchildren now, and four of them work in the family business. Oma in Dutch means grandmother, hence the product name Omawall, in honor of Nel.  ATAS also has a product called Opaline (Opa in Dutch means grandfather), named in honor of Jack. Opaline is used in wall, ceiling, and soffit applications.
