3 METALCON Top Product of the Year Winners We Are Excited About

Here are three winners of the Top Product Award that we cannot wait to see at their booths at METALCON! 

We are less than a month away from METALCON, welcoming the entire metal design and construction industry to reunite with friends and industry connections at the Indiana Convention Center, October 12-14! Recently the Top Products Winners were announced as a taste of the fun to come at the event!  

The Top Product of the Year award covers 15 categories including walls, roofs, structures, paint and coatings, windows and doors and more. Products must have been introduced to the market after January 1, 2021 and the manufacturers are required to attend 2022 METALCON. Read on to see some of CoffeeShop’s select winners that took home the honor of Top Product of the Year award and remember to check them out and see these products in person at METALCON! 

1 - Structures: Roof Hugger  

Roof Hugger Retrofit Sub-Purlins are the first structurally correct metal roof retrofit framing members made to industry standards. They are designed to match the thickness and tensile strength of the structural steel on the existing building and are an excellent alternative to re-roofing. 

2 - Technology: RoofersCoffeeShop®  

Okay, we are just too excited about this — RCS took home another Top Product Award this year! Over the past year we have been fast at work on a new Coffee Shop for our readers — MetalCoffeeShop™! This new site is home to all things metal, including roofing, walls, HVAC, gutters and more. This site delivers information that builds businesses while enabling ongoing conversation. Podcasts, webinars, articles, classifieds and so much more await on the site to engage the metal industry.   

3 - Walls: ATAS International, Inc. 

For the Wall category, ATAS International’s Omawall PL with EVO™ took first prize. This is an architectural plate panel that is an excellent choice for high-end applications. Panels are prefabricated and field-cut, saving on installation time and costs by avoiding field-fabrication.

Exhibitors are invited to showcase their top products with special product recognition at their booths in Indianapolis. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on-site for their top three choice products on the METALCON mobile app. The People’s Choice Top Three award winners will be announced at METALCON at “the Deck” on Friday, October 14 at 12:30 p.m.!
