It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Scott A. Kriner.

Scott A. Kriner, 63, of Macungie, died Thursday, January 26, 2023 at South Mountain Memory Care, Emmaus. He was the husband of Natalie R. "Lee Ann" (Ryba) Kriner to whom he was married 36 years. Born in Allentown, September 13, 1959, Scott was the son of Robert A. Kriner of Allentown and the late LaRue V. (Ritter) Kriner. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering both from Lehigh University. Scott owned Green Metal Consulting LLC in Macungie from 2009 – 2020. Prior to that, he was a technical consultant for the Metal Construction Association and the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. Active in the life of his church, Scott was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown, serving two terms as president of the Consistory and Festival Committee Chairman for 20 years. Scott was a hardworking, loyal and caring man with a great sense of humor. He always put his family first. He has left a positive impact on everyone he had the pleasure of knowing. His dedication to raising funds to fight this terrible disease is beyond admirable. Scott was an amazing musician. He enjoyed playing drums, and especially the marimba.
